Regina Rae Szymanski

Regina loved many things, but she especially took great joy in gardening. A devoted animal lover, she had a gentle heart for all creatures big and small, including the birds she enjoyed watching down to the wild rabbits who would eat her flowers. On a nice day, she liked to walk the dogs, taking them to the park or sitting back by the pool for an afternoon of sunbathing. She was also an avid reader who enjoyed getting lost in a good book. Above all, Regina looked forward to time spent with her children, especially when they would take her out to eat at any of her favorite restaurants, where she would get a little bit of everything, including her tasty onion rings.

Regina was a beloved wife for 50 years to John Szymanski; Cherished Mother to Sherri (Steven) Degraeve, John Szymanski; and Shelly (Laura) Szymanski; loving grandmother to Jennifer Degraeve, Joshua Degraeve, Ava Szymanski, Jacek Szymanski, Courtney (Nathanial) Landreville and Brooke Strauch, as well as a wonderful great-grandmother to Athena and Elena; Dearest sister to many siblings, including many nieces and nephews.
