Ruth E. Couck

Ruth E. Couck, age 99, beloved wife of the late Joseph. She is survived by her loving sons Robert (Barbara) and Gary (Roxanna), grandsons Robert (Stephanie), Richard (Errin) and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Virginia Mentzel, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Couck graduated from the New Jersey State Teachers College in 1940. She loved teaching and taught for 30 years at Avalon Elementary in St. Clair Shores. Ruth was also a volunteer at Bon Secours Hospital for 25 years.

Memorial Service will be held at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church 27801 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores on Saturday February 16, 2019 at 11 a.m.
