Sammy Lee Green, age 73, passed away on March 4, 2024. He was born in Carthidge, Tennesse on December 13, 1950 to his late parents Calvin and Birdie Green. Sammy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Ellen Green and daughter, Audrey Green. His is survived by his loving children: Samantha (Jason Houth) Green, Shane (Melanie Templin) Green; grandchildren: Aiden, Hannah, Katelyn, Elena; and siblings: Carl Ray and Linda. Sammy was also preceded in death by his siblings: Howard, Barbara, Tommy Lee, and Paulette. He was a proud Vietnam War Veteran and spent a lot of time with his fellow veterans at the V.A. in Detroit. Sammy was a car enthusiast and enjoyed fishing and gardening. He was also a member of the Shores Church and enjoyed being involved within the church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The Shores Church, 24905 Manhattan, St. Clair Shores.
