Sharon Ann Csernyant, 78, passed away on May 17, 2026. Born July 30, 1947, to parents Walter and Violet Sobczak. Sharon was a long time resident of Harrison Township, Michigan. She will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
After high school, she attended Central Michigan University. She later met the love of her life, Theodore, then turned her attention to becoming a homemaker and starting a family. Together they shared 50 years of marriage, a partnership marked by steady commitment and care.
Sharon’s gentle presence and kind-hearted spirit were felt most clearly in the way she loved those around her. She is the beloved wife to the late husband, Theodore, she is survived by her sons, Keith (Melissa) Csernyant, Kevin (Terri Reich) Csernyant, and Kerry (Lisa) Csernyant; and her grandchildren, Breanna Paddie, Katelyn Csernyant, Ashley Paddie, Sean Csernyant, and Keira Csernyant. She was also a great grandmother to Noah Bullock and Matilyn Paddie. Sharon is also survived by her brother, Dennis (Nancy) Sobczak.
In quieter moments, Sharon found joy in simple, meaningful pursuits. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing ceramics—pastimes that reflected her thoughtful nature and the calm, devoted way she moved through life.
Sharon was deeply beloved, and her memory will be carried forward with gratitude and respect by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation for Sharon will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
