Theodore Jacob Marshall, 59, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at St. John Ascension Hospital from heart failure. Ted was born June 2, 1963, in Detroit, to Catherine Marshall. Ted worked in the heating and cooling industry for close to 40 years. He started with sweeping floors in the shop, to being one of the most respected sales professional and problem solvers in the business. He was very dedicated to his trade and will leave a tremendous void.
Ted had a love of the outdoors and adventure. He was an avid hunter, he loved being out on the boat, or up north on the snowmobile trails. He enjoyed scuba diving and skiing. He basically was always up for anything. However, nothing gave him more pleasure than to share these experiences with is son Michael. They had many adventures together and treasured every moment.
Ted is survived by his son, Michael Marshall; Sister Catherine Pomaville (John); Nieces, Alison and Ashley Pomaville; Fiancée, Katherine Ruhle and her daughters Mercedes Ruhle, Nicole Allen, and grandson Landynn; and many loving family members and friends.
Viewing takes place from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave. St. Clair Shores, MI 48081. A short service will take place at 6:00 p.m.
