Vernetta Pokora, age 89, passed away July 2, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley; loving mother of Dianne (Daniel) May, Marlene (Jim) Kucinski, and Robert (Ken) Pokora; proud grandmother of Christine (David) Hutchinson, Brian (Kristen) May Matthew (Herlinda) Kucinski, Emily Kucinski; great-grandmother of William Hutchinson, Heather Hutchinson, Haylie May, Sarah May, and Lilly May; and dear sister of Virginia Weigartner and the late Roy Weingartner. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 4, 2013, from 3 – 8 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, July 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Basil Catholic Church, 22851 Lexington Ave., Eastpointe.
