Mulligan, Willard E. (Bill), of Saint Clair Shores, passed away in Florida on February 4. Beloved husband of Barbara for 61 years, who preceded him in death in 2010. Dearest father of seven children: Colleen (Greg Jakes) Davis, Peggy (Rich) Foster, John (Marian), Dennis, and his late children, Patricia Girardi, Carolyn (Michael) Withers and James. Loving grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 4. Bill served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. Bill was a very successful, self employed residential builder and was an avid woodworker, sportsman, and storyteller. He loved to dance and one of his favorite holidays was St Patrick’s Day. He also always looked forward to his annual fishing trips to Canada with his sons and friends.
A memorial service will take place Tuesday, March 6, 11:30 a.m., at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson, St. Clair Shores. The family will receive visitors before the service beginning at 9:30 a.m.
