Gloria Jean Kelly

Gloria Jean Kelly, age 76, born in Montreal, Quebec, daughter of the late William Kelly and Gertrude (Broden) Kelly, died from a Covid infection on March 13th, 2021. She is survived by her three children, Timothy, Jeffrey and Tarah (daughter-in-law), Bradley Holz, her sister Linda, her 4 grandchildren, Syrscha, Quinn, Kaelyn and Connor, her cousins John and Gary, nieces and nephews, her close friends Sandra, Susan, Jean, Cecilia Peggy, Gloria, and many friends.

Gloria dedicated her life to raising her three boys. She had a love for animals looking after friends’ pets and caring for her own cats. The SPCA was a big part of Gloria’s life and her way of giving back to our community in looking after the less fortunate critters.

The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses and doctors who took care of Gloria at the lakeshore General Hospital.

Gloria made time to help neighbors out how ever she could such as driving Mrs. Boszak to medical appointments and helping translate a conversation, and house tending while friends were on vacation.

Gloria also had a passion for volunteering during her life. She was involved in the Boy Scouts of Canada as a Beaver District Commissioner, and as an Olympic/Provincial Swim timekeeper.

Due to the circumstances of the pandemic the family will postpone funeral services for Gloria until later date waiting for an opportunity for family and friends to gather to celebrate Gloria’s life together.
