It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Mona Pelletier on October 14, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family.
Mona was the beloved wife of Claude, the devoted and loving mother of Renée (Stéphane) and Julie (Terry), and the cherished Nanou of Sabryna (Francis), Sarah (Mathieu), Chelsea (Jordan), Patrick (Alexandra), and Katya. She was also proud and adoring Great Nanou to Jade, Jacob, Zack, Ayden, Chloe, Romie, Charlotte, and Tatum.
She was the dear sister of Marth and Carmelle (Donald). Mona also leaves behind cherished extended family members Eveline, Janet, and Jo-Ann (Charles), along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
Family was Mona’s whole world, and loving them was what she did best. Her greatest happiness came from knowing that those she loved were happy, cared for, and had everything they needed and often everything they wanted, too. She gave endlessly of herself, always putting others before her own needs, never asking for anything in return.
Mona was always thinking about her family and worrying about the well-being of those she loved. No matter how old her children or grandchildren became, she never stopped caring, worrying, and wanting to make sure everyone was safe, happy, and taken care of. That was simply who she was a woman whose heart was always with her family.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were truly the loves of her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than being their Nanou and Great Nanou. They filled her heart with immeasurable pride and joy, and each one held a very special place in her heart. The love she had for them was endless, and being their Nanou and Great Nanou was one of her life’s greatest blessings.
Mona had a beautiful way of making people feel loved and special. She was not only a devoted wife, mother, Nanou, and Great Nanou, but also a wonderful friend whose kindness, warmth, and generous heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Mona leaves behind a beautiful legacy not measured in things, but in the countless acts of love, kindness, and devotion she shared throughout her life.
A Loving Goodbye from Her Family
To our beautiful Pitou, Mom, Nanou, and Great Nanou,
You were the heart of our family, the one who loved us unconditionally, worried about us endlessly, and always made sure we were happy, safe, and taken care of. You gave us so much of yourself, and we hope you knew just how deeply you were loved in return.
To your loving husband Claude, you were his partner in life, his love, and his family. To your daughters, Renée and Julie, you were our Mom, our comfort, and the person we could always count on. And to your grandchildren and great-grandchildren, you were their precious Nanou and Great Nanou, whose love made each of them feel so special.
Our hearts are broken knowing we can no longer see your smile, hear your voice, or feel your loving embrace. We will miss your caring ways, your constant worrying, and all the little things you did that made us feel so loved.
We promise to carry your love with us, to take care of one another, and to keep our family close, just as you always wanted.
You spent your whole life taking care of us. Now it’s time for you to rest, Mom. You don’t have to worry about us anymore. We will take care of each other, just like you taught us.
We love you more than words could ever say, and we will miss you every single day.
Forever in our hearts,
Your loving husband Claude, your daughters Renée and Julie, and all your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
