André René

André René, père, grand-père, frère et ami bien-aimé, s'est éteint paisiblement le dimanche 13 juillet 2025, prévoyant courageusement son dernier repos et ses retrouvailles avec son épouse Pamela, décédée en 2015.

Père de famille jusqu'au bout des ongles, sa vie a incarné l'attention affectueuse d'un père présent, pour ses enfants comme pour tous ceux qui ont eu la chance de faire partie de cette famille élargie, qui lui était si chérie. C'était un homme intelligent de peu de mots donc, lorsqu’il glissait un commentaire, ses paroles résonnaient avec les gens et étaient profondément ressenties, annonçant généralement une vérité simple, servies avec un brin d'humour. Il donnait l'exemple, incarnant sa foi avec intégrité à travers ses actes quotidiens. Il nous manque déjà.

La famille tient à remercier l'unité de soins intensifs de l'hôpital Pierre-Boucher pour les excellents soins prodigués au cours de ses dernières semaines.

Au lieu de fleurs, André serait heureux que vous fassiez un don à l'organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix.

Les visites et les condoléances auront lieu le lundi 4 août 2025 de 13h à 15h à la Résidence funéraire Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, Réseau Dignité, 307 Riverside, Saint-Lambert. Un petit service funéraire aura lieu à la chapelle du salon à 15 h.

L'amour et l'esprit d'André vivent dans le cœur de tous ceux dont la vie a été touchée.

André René, beloved father, grand-father, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 13th 2025, courageously anticipating his final rest and his reunion with his cherished wife Pamela, who passed away in 2015.

A family man through and through, his life epitomized the loving attention of a present father, for his children as well as whoever had the good fortune to be part of this extended family, who meant the world to him. He was a brilliant man of few words; when he spoke, his words resonated with people and were deeply felt, usually heralding a fundamental truth, and always delivered with a silly bit of humour. He led by example, infusing his faith with integrity into his daily life and everyday actions. He is already missed.

The family would like to thank the Intensive Care Unit at Pierre-Boucher Hospital for their excellent care during his last weeks.

Instead of flowers, André would be happiest if you made a donation to the charity of your choice.

Visitation and condolences will be held on Monday, August 4th, 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, Dignity Memorial, 307 Riverside, Saint-Lambert. A small Funeral Service in the chapel of the funeral home will take place at 3 p.m.

André's love and spirit live on in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.
