My deepest sympathies to the entire Hunter family. I had the chance to work alongside both Mervins at St-Jude School. I'm convinced that she will be truly missed and that everyone will keep fond memories of her.

My apologies, I have hundreds of these memories:  

I remember for one birthday, Auntie Bonnie (she was never referred to simply as “Bonnie”) decided to bake me my all time favorite cake which was double chocolate cake with a cherry on top.  When we arrived at my Grandmother’s house, there was a second cake waiting for me from a renown pastry store.  I headed for Auntie Bonnie’s cake and never looked back.  It was such a labour of love and devotion, it was the ultimate.

Dear Uncle Mervin, Skip & Angela,  

There are no words to diminish the pain you feel.  Auntie Bonnie was one in a million.  Rest in the knowledge of how much she loved you all and only wanted the very best for all of you.  She was Loved by Many and you were her shining stars - such an understatement.

I will always be here to talk or cry - as I am doing this moment.

A letter to my Beloved Aunt:  
Auntie Bonnie, when I received the devastating news of your passing, I broke down in disbelief.  How could you ever leave?  

I remember all the times I lived with you in Lachine and Greenfield Park and how you effortlessly treated me like one of your own.  I had a mental block regarding reading and I distinctly remember you and I seated at the supper time and you trying everything to help me.  I suppose I had too much baggage during that time with my situation to pick up new things.  I loved Skip and Angela as my siblings and regret the distance that ensued.

My Mom has been reminiscing and recaps stories where you were on the same page doing nightly dishes etc and the conversations that ensued.  We will always adore you and though you kept to yourself for the last subset of years, you were never far from our thoughts.  

Your selfless attitude and the love you always resonnated, has permitted you to fly the highest next to God.  

You are now my “Special Angel” and forever will be.  Until we see one another again and share the biggest hug.  I adore you.
