Born on February 2nd, 1943, in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Pat (Etienna Laperriere) and John Stewart Cameron, Bryant spent much of his youth in Drummondville. After completing high school, Bryant pursued higher education at Dalhousie University and later earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University.
Throughout his career at Canadian Lab Supplies and Brinkmann Instruments, Bryant was respected for his knowledge, integrity, and dedication to his clients and colleagues.
Bryant met his future wife, Judy, skiing the slopes of Jay Peak, VT. Here, they would later instil in their children not only a love of skiing, but an appreciation for good friends and company, a sense of adventure, and making that first chair regardless of the weather. Bryant had a wide range of interests, from music and cycling to reading mystery novels and playing pickleball. His passion for BMW motorcycles was a lifelong adventure, though Judy lovingly opted out of that one. They also loved to travel.
He will be remembered most for his unfailing kindness, easy and contagious laughter, generous spirit, and the occasional practical joke. Bryant enjoyed meeting new people and developing meaningful friendships, many of which he carried with him throughout his lifetime. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, fatherinlaw and friend, his greatest joy was being able to spend time with those he loved most.
He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter, Alison Parker (Benjamin), son James Cameron (Holly Cunliffe), cherished grandchildren Anna, Maya, Samuel, and Wallis, sister Sandy Cameron, and many nieces and nephews. His legacy lives on in the laughter he shared, the friendships he nurtured, and the love he gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 16th from 1:30pm to 4:30pm at the Country Club of Montreal, 5 rue Riverside, Saint Lambert, Quebec, J4S 1B7.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to the charity of your choosing.
