Carole Youngward

It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Youngward, a strong, generous, and kind-hearted woman whose presence was a blessing to all who knew her. Carole passed away on December 15, surrounded by the love of her family.

Carole faced life with extraordinary resilience. She lived for many years with Multiple Sclerosis, meeting its challenges with remarkable courage and grace. Despite everything she faced, she remained a source of comfort and strength to those around her, inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves behind her children Glenn O’Flaherty (Sandra Dian), Lori O’Flaherty (Sylvain Dubé ), Scott O’Flaherty (Laurie Sauvé ) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephew. She was the cherished sister of Marlene Morley (Ross Morley) and Kenny Youngward (Susan Reid).

Carole will be remembered for her gentle warmth, her generosity and the kindness she offered so naturally. Her legacy is one of love, perseverance, and a life lived with compassion.

The family will receive condolences at Collin’s Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home in St-Lambert on December 29th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., after which the immediate family will gather in private. In lieu of flowers please consider paying a kindness forward in her honour; mum would have liked that.

Carole’s memory will forever remain a blessing to her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Carole Youngward, survenu le 15 décembre, entourée de l’amour de sa famille.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Glenn O’Flaherty (Sandra Dian), Lori O’Flaherty (Sylvain Dubé) et Scott O’Flaherty (Laurie Sauvé), ainsi que ses petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants, ses nièces et son neveu. Elle était la sœur très chère de Marlene Morley (Ross Morley) et de Kenny Youngward (Susan Reid).

Carole a vécu de nombreuses années avec la sclérose en plaques, affrontant cette épreuve avec courage, dignité et une grande générosité de cœur. Elle restera à jamais dans la mémoire de tous ceux qui l’ont connue.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Complexe funéraire Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, à Saint-Lambert, le 29 décembre, de 16 h à 18 h, suivies d’un moment privé pour la famille immédiate.

Au lieu de fleurs, un geste de bonté posé en sa mémoire serait apprécié.

Carole sera rappelée pour sa douceur, sa générosité et la gentillesse qu’elle offrait si naturellement. Son héritage est celui de l’amour, de la persévérance et d’une vie vécue avec compassion.
