James Eekhof

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of James Eekhof, at the age of 64, on Wednesday, April 17 2024. After a long illness and fighting so hard and for so long, he is finally at peace and at rest.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years Susan Castelli, children and stepchildren, Christina Eekhof (Marc), Amanda Eekhof, TJ Charron (Sara), Chrissy Charron (Mike), Stephanie Charron and Penny Charron (Paul). Grandchildren, Madison, Patrick, Emma, Lucas, Jonathan, Chelsea, Mathieu, Zachary, Mickael, Hayley, Elija, Faith and Israel.

Survived by his mother Elize Eekhof (née) Klaassen and his brothers Rick (Tara), Ken (Charlene), and William (Roula). A beloved husband, father, uncle and friend. James was best known for his jokes, infectious laugh and contagious smile you couldn't help but mirror. He loved fishing, hunting and working on cars. His wife, family and friends meant everything to him.

We will miss you and love you always.

There will be a Service at the Mont-Royal Cemetary on May 15, 2024 at 11am.

Friends and family will gather at the main gate, 1297 Chemin de la Foret. When everyone has arrived, one of the guides will accompany us to the plot.

After the service, we will have a small reception at the Cote des Neiges Presbyterian Church. 3435, Chemin de la Cote-Sainte-Catherine, Montreal, QC
