Joan Graham (née Curley) passed away peacefully in her home on October 7, 2023 at the age of 82. She joined her beloved husband, John in their eternal resting place. She will be deeply missed by her adoring children, Karen (Jim), John (Lorraine), Kim (Randy), Scott (Diane) and Sharon, whom she loved and raised as her own. She also leaves behind her cherished 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, siblings Hilda, Robert (Suzanne) and Sharon (Michael), dearest cousin Linda (Robert), as well as many extended family members and friends. She is predeceased by her husband John, her parents Millie and Joseph Curley, and her siblings Diane, Shirley and Norman.
Joan was born in Montreal, Qc. After meeting John, she was quickly introduced to Gratten Lake where countless memories were made. She raised her family in Brossard and was the neighborhood mom to many, where everyone felt welcome, loved and accepted. Her kind, gentle demeaner made everyone feel appreciated, comfortable and at home, and nobody was allowed to leave without a full stomach.
Her passions were the Lord, her family, square dancing, Hank Williams, country/western and gospel music, baking, cooking, feeding everyone with snacks and love; always making sure everyone else was doing alright and comfortable.
Joan’s wishes were that there be no funeral service.
