

Surrounded by his loving family, Ken passed away suddenly but peacefully on December 30,2011, in hospital, at the age of 79. Loving and caring husband to Isabelle (Strange) of St.Lambert, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Laurie (Ted Hutcheson) and sons Christopher (Vivienne Touchette), Cameron (Dan Peiser) and Colin (Jacki) and his six grandchildren, Matthew, Katie, Sara, Jeanne, Maddy and Jonah. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters, Moyra and Sandra, and brother William (Ian), his brother and sisters-in- law, his many nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Ken was a teacher with the Protestant School Board at John Grant High School and Verdun High School (Argyle Academy). He spent his years enjoying sports in his youth, with his family and as a dedicated teacher and mentor to many athletes over his career. Ken will be remembered for his love and kindness and as an exceptional teacher who touched the lives of many students and athletes. Visitation will be held at 1 pm on January 6, 2012 at the United Church on Desaulniers Blvd. in St. Lambert, with service to follow at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Quebec, 5165 Sherbrooke Street West, Suite 211, Montreal, QC H4A 1T6 for research on this devastating disease.
