26 August, 1945 – 11 February, 2021
IN THE CARE OF

Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Homes

Warren Craig Bishop's "Clipper" Ship has sailed. Passing peacefully on February 11th, 2021, Craig was born August 26th, 1945 in Montreal, and was a lifelong resident of Saint Lambert and the Eastern Townships. Craig is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd and Ruby Bishop. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife of 54 years, Susan Jane Salmon, his children Jeffrey and Vanessa, and his grandchildren Jade, Elizabeth, and Erika. Craig is also survived by his brother Keith (Judy E. O'Brian), his sister Melanie (Dr. David Allen), his sister-in-law Sheryl (Stuart Taylor), and his many nieces, nephews, and godson from the Bishop, Taylor, Salmon, Allen and Akerly families.

Craig was an innovative businessman and founding member of Clipper Ship Supply (1970-2014). His father Lloyd and brother Keith joined the business a year after it's creation, and contributed to Clipper's success. Craig' accomplishments and leadership are well recognized by the Marine industry. He was a competitor, a representative, and a leader with the ISSA (International Ship Supply Association), CSSA (Canadian Ship Supply Association), Compass, and The Grunt Club.

Craig was an avid golfer who loved business deals, dinner parties, and sharing stories about his adventures. He was passionate, driven, resilient, and most of all, caring. From strangers to colleagues, from friends to family, Craig consistently believed in the potential and value of those who surrounded him.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends, the international shipping community, and colleagues from Montreal and around the world.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Charitable donations in Craig's memory can be made to The Mariners' House of Montreal, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charitable foundation of your choice.
