

He is survived by his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Richard John and Mary Louise O'Neill; sister, Erica Nicole O'Neill; brother, Brian Richard O'Neill; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John and Marcia O'Neill; and Mrs. Roberta Gill; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized by Pastor Charles Wingfield, at First Christian Church of Florissant, in 1998. His sanctification was nurtured by his beloved teacher, Ruth Wingfield.
In his youth, Adam studied classical guitar. He participated in many sports, most noteworthy being swimming. Starting at age eight and for several years to follow, he was ranked one of the top swimmers in the nation for the respective age groups.
Adam graduated from Ladue Horton Waktins High School in 2008. He attended two years of college.
His work history included his father's medical office, a law office, retail, and a DJ company.
On June 8, 2011, Adam sustained a motorcycle accident resulting in quadriplegia. After a long and difficult hospital course, he returned home to be cared for and loved by his family until his death.
