Anh My Huynh

Anh My Huynh was born on July 18, 1930 in Hainan, China where she later met her husband Hong Lai. Together, they immigrated to Saigon and started a family. They had ten children and worked tirelessly to take care of their family. After the death of her husband in 1977, she became the sole matriarch for her ten children raising them in a time of civil unrest and economic uncertainty. In 1991, she immigrated with her family to St. Louis, Missouri where she spent the latter half of her life. She enjoyed gathering together with her children and grandchildren during the holidays and birthdays, with good food and a couple dozen lotto scratchers. After living a simple life surrounded by loved ones, she passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 4, 2022. She will always be remembered as a strong woman who cared deeply for her children and grandchildren.
