Brenda was born on October 9, 1947 in Wardell, MO and relocated to St. Louis when she was in her 20’s eventually settling in Maryland Heights, MO where lived until her death.
Brenda is survived by her Husband Ollie Sherman, Daughter Victoria Sherman and her siblings LaDonna Jackson and Sherry Keegan as well as her Niece Tracy Lowry and countless other nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
Brenda was proceeded in death by her Mother Virginia Riley Fields , Father Lawrence Ray “Poss” Fields and her sister Peggy Lowry.
Brenda rediscovered her zest for life after conquering a fear of flying. This enabled her to travel to California with her daughter where she was able to visit all kinds of museums and tourist spots. She loved old movies, so going to Hollywood was a highlight of her life. She always had a desire to visit Dallas, Texas Stadium and Tennessee as well as several baseball parks along the way. She accomplished those goals and was always game for a good trip.
She enjoyed all kinds of music, mostly Dolly Parton and classic country, but she really loved Celtic Thunder. She tried to attend every show they, put on here in St. Louis. She loved a good rock show every once in a while.
Brenda loved animals and especially her Granddog Kurby who she always said ”had her heart.” The family is requesting that donations be made to the Humane Society, the APA or Parkinson’s Association in lieu of flowers.
She was laid to rest in the mausoleum at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery in Creve Coeur following a private ceremony.
