

COLLIER, Campbell C. 92 of St. Louis on Sunday, February 1, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Alta Collier (nee: Trask); loving son of the late Francis and Ada Collier (nee Campbell); beloved brother of the late Ben Collier, Lloyd Collier, Udell Collier, Bud Collier, Donnie Holt, Delma Russo, and Dorothy Cosgrove; dear uncle, great uncle and great-great uncle to many; dear friend and comrade to many.
Campbell faithfully served his Country and his State in the Army and National Guard. He saw service in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He also served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2593, American Legion Post 299 and the 40/8. As member of these veterans organizations Campbell served in various leadership positions over the years. He worked for many years until his retirement at Anheuser Busch as an electrician supervisor. After his retirement Campbell traveled all over the United States and Canada stopping any place he could wet a line and hope to catch a fish. While Campbell and Alta never had children, they deeply loved their nieces and nephews and saw them as their children and grandchildren.
Services: Visitation 4-8 pm Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125. Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 am, Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Interment with honors will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
