Clifford passed away July 2, 2021. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Leonard and Ida Gelber. He is survived by his children, Brad Gelber, Debbie Gelber, and Carolyn (Ratelle) Gelber. Father-in-law to Jack Ratelle, and grandfather to Parker and Rachel. Clifford was married to Elaine (Cupples) Gelber from 1961-1987.
Clifford graduated from University City High School in 1954. He owned and operated Leonard’s and Son’s Tuxedo Rental with several locations in the greater St. Louis area.
Clifford loved animals, especially his dog Tootsie. He enjoyed raising horses in his earlier years and playing golf.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 7 at 10:00 am at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodol located at 9125 Ladue Road.
