David was the eldest son of the late Dr. Kyu S. and Julie Cho. Except for his birth on November 11, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois; and his student years at Emory University, St. Louis was his beloved home.
While attending Ladue High School, David enjoyed playing varsity football. During handshakes, opposing players would make friendly comments about his unexpected tall stature. He also enjoyed golf and tennis, and he had a beautiful voice that he shared in high school and church choirs. He reached his goal of becoming a real estate investor/manager, which gave him the opportunity to regularly meet new people.
David’s life was a testament to the power of love and resilience. He lived many years with the lasting effects of a catastrophic stroke, yet his days were full of positivity and free of worry.
David is survived by his loving siblings Patricia, Susan, Nancy, Karen, and Michael, along with their spouses and children. The family honored David’s life with a private remembrance gathering; and gives deep thankfulness to God and to the friends whose kindness uplifted David and all who loved him.
