Delores Laverne “Cookie” Files, age 86, of Highland, Illinois passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. Delores was born September 27, 1935 to Frank and Marie (O’Lesky) Chrum whom have preceded her in death along with her husband, Wiley Files and a brother Eugene Chrum.
Delores leaves behind her loving daughter, Rosemarie (Terry) Throm, her grandchildren, Nicole (Adam) Blanc and Steven (Rachael) Throm. She also leaves behind her three great grandson’s, Gavin, Jameson, and Rhett.
Delores lived a simple life and spent most of her time through the years caring for her grandchildren that called her Ga! She had many hobbies including crocheting, sewing, collecting carousel horses and loved watching WWE wrestling.
