Ernest L. Hausman, 75, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022, surrounded by loving family. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Barni) Hausman; loving father of Lisa Hausman, Lori (Michael) Endres, Paul (Christine) Hausman, Cynthia Hausman, and Amanda (Paul) Greco; dear grandfather of Zachary, Nickolas, Jon Paul, Ethan, Lydia, and Harper; dear brother of Renee (Stephen) Franklin, Petena (Kenneth) Holzapfel, and the late Infant Mary Hausman; our dear uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, godfather, and friend to many.
After his time in the service, he worked for International Shoe Co., BlueCross BlueShield, Mercantile Bank and The Federal Reserve of St. Louis. From there he started his own computer training company called Productivity Point International. After closing that chapter, he was employed at A.G. Edwards then retired from Wells Fargo Advisors.
Ernie had many interests. His music interests included singing in Holy Innocents and St. Ambrose choirs, participating in many musical plays, USO shows and several Hill Days. Ernie most recently enjoyed his appearances for Christmas on the Hill. Since his retirement he had enjoyed playing golf, traveling and boasting about all of his children and grandchildren.
Ernie was a member of the Rollo Calcaterra American Legion Post 15, the Holy Name Society of St. Ambrose, and the Knights of Columbus.

SERVICES: Visitation 3-8pm Sunday, March 13, 2022, Calcaterra Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial 9am Monday, March 14, 2022, St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Vincent De Paul Society c/o St. Ambrose parish or St. Jude's Children's Hospital appreciated.
