Eugene "Gene" Barry Weisman

Devoted husband of 66 years to Roxanne Sue Spector. Dearest father to the late Marshall Craig Weisman, Michelle Caron Rappaport, and Susan Lynn Horowitz (Jeffrey). Cherished and adored Grandpa Gene to Alex Weisman, Amanda (Gilly) Andry, Jori (Josh) Zepeda, Ben (Cassidy Bannon) Rappaport, and Haley, Josh and Matthew Horowitz. Loving great grandfather to Tessa Rae Rappaport. Son of the late William and the late Kate Weisman. Brother to the late Jerry Weisman. Dearest uncle, confidant, and friend to many.

Gene was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. His 91 years of life were full of accomplishments such as becoming an Eagle Scout at age 18, serving his country in the United States Army, getting sworn in at the Supreme Court during his decades-long career as a lawyer, volunteering often at the Jewish Food Pantry, and traveling the world several times over, but his greatest accomplishment and joy was his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service Wednesday, March 11th at 10 AM at BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Boulevard. No visitation prior to the funeral service. Interment follows at United Hebrew Cemetery, 7855 Canton Avenue.
