Gary Owen Gaines

Gary Owen Gaines of O'Fallon, Missouri entered into rest on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Son of the late Howard and Lucille Gaines. Loving husband of Anne M. Gaines (nee Browning) and the late Cheryl Gaines. Stepfather of Jennifer A. Gerdes, Zachary M. White and Alexandra L. Keck. Dear Grandfather of Elizabeth Carroll, Kayla Thompson and Lucas, Logan and Levi Gerdes.

Brother of Billie McCaskey, John Gaines, Sandy Bode, Randy Gaines and the late Patricia, Donald and Ronald. Dear uncle, great uncle, brother in law and friend.

Gary was a beloved owner of bulldogs and an avid dog breeder and enthusiast of bulldogs. Gary was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He retired from Ameren UE as building service mechanic.

A visitation will be held Sunday, December 12, 2021 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO 63125; followed by a committal service at 11:00 AM. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan, St. Louis, MO 63125.
