Genevieve “Gen” Chappuis, age 99, of St. Louis, was fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on May 27, 2017. She was born March 12, 1918, in St. Louis, a daughter of Roman and Katherine Seiter, nee Birkenmeier. She is the beloved wife of Velmo Chappuis who preceded her in death; dear mother of James V. (the late Marilyn) Chappuis and Marianne (Dick) David; cherished grandmother of Steven (Kim) Chappuis, Rebecca (Joe) Heltibrand, Meg, Lori and Paul David; great-grandmother of Mark (Laura) David, Bailey and Eric Chappuis and Gus and Lena Heltibrand. She was preceded in death by a brother Joe Seiter and a sister, Agnes Trigg.
A Funeral service 10 am Tues. May 30, St. Matthias Catholic Church, 796 Buckley Rd, St. Louis, Mo. 63125. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation is at church from 9 am until time of service.
