Ida Shriber Pratzel

Beloved wife of the late Aaron Shriber and the late Alvin Pratzel; dear mother of Marilyn Comensky of Scottsdale, AZ, Linda Collins (Peter Morrissey) of Scottsdale, AZ and Larry Shriber (Laurie) of Palm Springs, CA; dear grandmother of Mindy Davis, Paula Owurowa, Randy Comensky, Craig Collins and Joshua, Zachary and Cory Shriber; dear great-grandmother of Parker and Aaron Comensky, Lucy and Olivia Davis, Kyle Collins and Sophie Owurowa.

We celebrate the life of Ida Shriber Pratzel. She worked hard with her husband Aaron Shriber in the restaurant business they owned for many years, Hamburger Heaven in University City. She loved her home in Olivette, where she raised her three children. She was very talented in sewing, knitting and crocheting. Her biggest joy was to visit her children and grandchildren in Palm Springs, CA. She always spoke up, never held back and enjoyed saying what was on her mind. Ida spent her last four years in Scottsdale, AZ, and celebrated her 100th year with her family.

Graveside service Sunday, October 14th, 2 pm at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 7500 Olive Boulevard in University City. Memorial contributions preferred to Hadassah, Sabra Chapter, c/o Jan Smolin, 26814 N. 42nd Way, Cave Creek, AZ 85331.
