Kenneth L. Burkett

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Burkett on 12/21/24. He was born in St. Louis, MO on 7/9/53. After finishing school, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Dear husband, soul mate and best friend of Jill Towbin Burkett, whom he adored, for over 38 years. Loving father of Tara Grater, Kenneth Burkett Jr. and William Burkett. Loving son of the late Sam and Patricia Burkett. Beloved son-in-law of Harlene (Cookie) and the late Alvin Towbin. Beloved brother of Brad (Glenna) Burkett and Darren (Martha) Burkett. Beloved brother-in-law of Craig (Lori) Towbin and Wendi (Gary) Dolgin. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ken enjoyed sports, especially hockey, baseball and golf. He was an excellent athlete playing the sports he loved.

Memorial service Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Berger Memorial Chapel, 9430 Olive Boulevard, 63132, followed by a procession to Jefferson Barracks Cemetery where he will be buried with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken's memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital.
