

He was born on January 15, 1932 in Afton, MO to Joseph and Catherine (Hausler) Weier.
He resided with his wife Janice (Moore) in Florissant, MO for 25 years, raising 4 daughters. They then moved to Pacific, MO, residing there 25 years.
Ken was a veteran, serving proudly in the Army as a military policeman in Bremerhaven, Germany in 1953-1954, where daughter Susan was born. He also served 33 years in civil service at the U.S. Record Center on Page Ave.
He is survived by his wife Janice, 4 daughters: Susan and husband Larry Coffman Jr. of Robertsville, MO, Diane and husband Paul Davis of Pacific, MO, Lynda and husband Chuck Colson of Arnold, MO, and Elizabeth and husband William Forister of Pacific, MO; ten grandchildren: Crystal, Andi, Jessica, Jasmine, Matthew, Anna, Melissa, Micah, Megan and Austin; nine great-grandchildren and sister Helen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Annette and Pauline, brother Joseph, grandson Jacob, great-granddaughter Aaliyah and their pet Penny.
Ken was a quiet man who enjoyed watching movies in the evening with his wife. He especially enjoyed competing in billiards with son-in-law Chuck and playing cards with everyone that stopped by.
A favorite food was homemade bread like his mother used to make.
Special thanks to granddaughters Melissa Arellano and Megan Fountain for their all-night vigils, and daughter Elizabeth for faithfully keeping him pain free. Ken was a family man who loved, protected and always put his family first. He was so very loved and will be sorely missed. Ken would also like to alert others to the importance of wearing sunscreen in the fight against skin cancer.
A Funeral Service will be held at Hoffmister South County Chapel; 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. on September 30th at 1 P.M. Visitation from 10 A.M. till the time of service, Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
