Loving husband of 61 years to Dorothy (nee Friedman); dear father of Mike (Jill) Heitzman, Ken (Vickey) Heitzman, Dan Heitzman and the late Linda Heitzman; beloved gramps of Michael (Courtney) Heitzman, Melinda (Pablo) Usandivaras, Melissa Heitzman, Marc Heitzman, Kim Heitzman; Steven Heitzman, Jennifer Heitzman and Ryan Heitzman; dear great-gramps of Diego and Sofia Usandivaras; dear brother-in-law of Frank (Kate) Friedman, Ray (Pat) Friedman, the late Joe (Marian) Friedman and the late Art (Rita) Friedman; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Killian was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired after many years of working for Mercantile Bank here in St. Louis. He was also a long-time member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed by his many friends, but especially by his family who were always first in his life.

Visitation 3-8 pm, Monday, December 8, 2014 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Mass of the Resurrection 9:30 am, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 610 W Ripa Ave, Lemay, MO 63125. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. If desired contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society c/o of St. Martin of Tours Church or masses in Killian’s memory maybe offered.
