

Tung, Lillian H. 83 of St. Louis, MO. died peacefully Monday August 9, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was born in Beijing, China in 1926 and immigrated to the U.S. in 1948. She was the wife of Dr. Ching C. Tung, whom she married August 25, 1949. She received a Masters Degree in Chemistry from University of Michigan. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with her friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and instilled in her children and grandchildren her deep love of education and learning. She is survived by her devoted husband; her four loving sons and daughters-in-law, Leslie and Silvia Tung of Kalamazoo, MI., Harvey and Deborah Tung of Newark, OH., Glenn and Nadine Tung of Boston, MA., Pierre and Kay Tung of St. Louis, MO.; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca and Richard Hahn of NYC, NY; her beloved grandsons, Nicholas, David, Daniel, Mathew, Eric, Sam and Robert and her beloved granddaughters, Monica, Anita, Katherine and Abigail. A private family ceremony will be held. In liue of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
