Linda Faye Germain

GERMAIN, Linda Faye 74, of St. Louis, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Linda was the beloved wife of Jerry Germain and dear daughter of Tressie Little (nee Couples) and the late Odell Little. She was the loving mother of Lori (Cliff) Gould, Scott (Tara) Germain and the late Julie Germain. She was the beloved grandma of Calli Germain and Jared Germain. Linda was the dear sister of Eugene Little, James (Estee) Little and the late Charles Little. She was the loving aunt to Barb Little, Bridget (Steve) Prosise, and Carrie (Evan) Shaw. She was the dear great aunt of Gavin Prosise and Amelia Shaw. She was dear friend to many.

Linda was a graduate of McKinley High School Class of 1960 . It was at McKinley where she met Jerry. He was on the football team and she was a cheerleader. Not long after high school she and Jerry married forming a bond and a partnership that couldn’t be broken. In 1977 she and Jerry started Jerry Germain Rides. Linda was a strong and determined woman. She revolved her life around her grandkids, and loved watching them play sports, she was their number 1 fan. She was a devout Christian. Her faith and her family were the most important things in her life. After battling heart disease and diabetes for many years she finally let God take away the pain and is now at peace. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

SERVICES: A visitation for family and friends will be offered from10 am-1:30pm on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO 63125. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in St. Trinity Cemetery. In memory of Linda contributions may be made to Jewell S. Germain or Calli A.
