Passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Marilyn Gianino (nee Preswheat); adored father of Yvonne (Andrew) Sala, Julie Gianino and Tracy (Brandi) Burch; loving Papa of Lexi Burch, Ethan Kahler and Dominic Burch; dearest brother of the late Ralph (Barbara) Gianino, late Carolyn (late Bill) Baynes, late Henry Gianino, Dolores Gianino, Charlene (Bill) Hall, Maria (Dwayne) Hall and Terri (late Jimmy) Rayfield; dear brother-in-law of the late William (late Bobbie) Preswheat and Doris Newhouse; our nephew, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.
Lou was an amazing plasterer and a master of his craft, working on Piazza Imo, Italia-America Bocce Club and St. Ambrose Catholic Church all on the Hill. He was proud of his work and loved his job as a member of Plasters’ local #3. He honorably served in the United States Army Reserve. Lou loved golf and played often. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa.
SERVICES: Visitation, Wednesday, December 29th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Calcaterra Funeral Home, 5140 Daggett Ave.; 63110. Funeral Mass, Thursday, December 30th, 9:30 am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 5130 Wilson Ave.; St. Louis, MO 63110.
