Lucille E. Krause

“Grandma Lucy” passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 23, 2018. She was 102.

Loving wife of the late William “Bill” Krause of Krause Key and Lock and the eldest of 9 siblings.

Devoted mother of Ron (the late Jackie) Krause and the late Gloria (Jack survives) Schneiderjohn.

Doting grandmother of 5, Eric (Pam) Krause, Shelly (Jeff) Hacking, Shawn (Fiona) Krause, Kelly (Mike) Montpetit and Candy (Randy) Gehricke.

Adoring great-grandmother of 12, Heather and Aaron Kirchner, Nikki and Brooke Hacking, Jordan, Brock and Garret Montpetit, Nick and Jenna Gehricke, Maddie and Sophie Krause, Tessa and Declan Krause.

Dear sister of Delores and Juanita and the late Bernice, Joseph, Bernard, Jack, Bob and Paul.

As she would always end her sweet letter to us “Be Happy,” we love you Grandma and we will try.

The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 12 noon.

Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Visitation at Hoffmeister South County on Sat. from 10 am until time of service.
