Margaret Anne Ryan

RYAN, Margaret “Margie” Anne, 72, born December 17, 1943 - died February 3, 2016. Daughter of the late John Joseph and Loretto (nee Murray) Ryan; loving sister of Patricia A. and Kathleen Anne Ryan; loved by many cousins, friends, and godchildren. She was a child of God and a child of the Sacred Heart, a 1961 graduate of Villa Duchesne, and a 1965 graduate of Maryville College.

A 25 year retiree from DMAAC, she volunteered for the Peregrine Society, Operation Food Search, Talking Tapes, and was a supportive parishioner of Immacolata Parish all her life.

Margie received the gift of a kidney transplant in 1972 which lasted 43 years. She lived a life of faith in thanksgiving for her transplant by volunteering for the Kidney Foundation. The family is so grateful to the doctors and staff of Missouri Baptist Hospital, especially, Dr. Charles Hani Soudah for all of their care and compassion to Margie.

SERVICES: The family will receive friends from 9am until time of Mass at 10:30am on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Immacolata Church 8900 Clayton Rd., St. Louis, MO 63117. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margie’s memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Immacolata Parish St Vincent DePaul Conference, Peregrine Society, Birthright, or charity of one’s choice.
