Marion was born on December 26, 1938 to Claude and Lillian (nee McClure) Millikan in Caruthersville, MO.
Marion joined the US Air Force in 1957 at Ellsworth AFB in South Dakota and proudly served in the Strategic Air Command. Marion married Carol Ann Sutfin on April 16, 1959 in Rapid City, SD.
Marion retired from RSI after 38 years of loyal service. He was a proud member of the NRA and the First Baptist Church of Columbia, IL.
Preceded in death by beloved siblings Claudean, Armada, Oliver, Joseph, Esther, Wanda, and Michael, he is survived by his cherished wife of 66 years, Carol; sisters Hannah and Elizabeth; children Diane (David) Smith and Scott Millikan; along with grandchildren Christina (Shayne) Robinson, Scott (Brandy) Millikan, and Andrea (Caleb) Young; as well as 11 great grandchildren Amara, Adalyn, Karis, Kaelyn, Titus, Theodore, Carmen, Layne, Easton, Jael, and his birthday buddy Zoe.
SERVICES: Visitation 10am until time of service at 11:30am Friday, February 20, 2026, at 1st Baptist Church of Columbia, 1200 Valmeyer Road, Columbia, IL 62236.
Interment with Military Honors to follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
