I remember Marty.  We were roommates in a basement apartment where we spent many pleasurable hours discussing families and shared interests. 

Marty was two years ahead of me at Illinois College of Podiatry and Foot Surgery, and he generously helped me with the subject matter.  I believe he arranged for my work at Bethesda Hospital during my four years.  I will say a mishaberach for his nefesh.

Dr. Becker was a special person and will always be remembered to Betty Jean Kerr People's Health Centers. Before he passed away, he and Ms. Becker wanted to make sure his podiatry equipment was put to good use. I received a call from Ms. Becker on Dr. Becker's behalf donating two podiatry chairs to Betty Jean Kerr People's Health Centers. His memory will live on in our facility as the chairs will serve hundreds of patients who come to our facility for podiatry services. What a special couple they were and we are honored to be the recipient of such quality equipment to use for patients. Thank you, Dr. and Mrs. Becker.

I was so sorry to hear of Marty's passing. He was a very special man. Barbara and Jodi, I will never forget the evening that we all spent together in 1992. I think that Marty drove all over St Louis to show me every sight in the city.Your warm hospitality left an indelible mark. May Marty rest in peace.

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Becker's (at 2 office locations).  He was a great podiatrist and a fine gentleman.  I had many wonderful conversations with him, Barbara, and Jodi and got to meet his beloved grandson, Noah.  It was a privilege to be able to attend his graveside service and hear the rabbi and remembrances from others in the assembly gathered there.

Dearest Barbra,Jodi,Michael and the rest of the family,                 We will miss Marty greatly.  He was a Gentleman and a Scholar.      I loved him dearly.He was a great cousin and friend. I will miss talking to him regularly and I know you will too. He was extremely talented and could fix anything and respected him for that and all he accomplished. He was a renaissance man.

7 years ago I had the opportunity to meet and share with Marty a whole week during his visit to Costa Rica. I remember his eternal smile and the affection he showed when he met a new Family. Rest in peace.
