Mary Lou Rader

Loving wife of the late Arvel Rader; cherished mother of Theresa (Bob) Young, Norma (John) Meyers, Ronnie (Sheree) Raddatz, Sherry (Mikal) Rogers, and the late Alvin (Mary) and Donna (Rob) Windmiller. Adoring Grandmother to Alvin, Jennifer, Ricky, BJ, Tony, Greg, John, Robbie, Miranda, Milinda, Mandy, Jason, Kyle, Christina and the late Jessica. Great Grandmother to 26, mother in law of James Misuraco. Mary Lou was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Mary Lou and the family wishes to thank long time caregiver Keri Miller.

Mary Lou’s father Louis Frank Lanemann passed away many decades ago, and her mother, Josephine Mae, who the kids all called “Grandma Mae”, lived with Mary Lou and the kids until her death in 1994.

Mary Lou was a long-time employee of the St. Joseph’s Nuns at St. Anthony’s Convent. Often after her shift, she could be found across the street at Behrmann’s Tavern having a beer and playing pull tabs. Mary Lou loved gardening and was particularly proud of her rose bushes.

A funeral service will be held at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., 63125 on Tuesday, August 23 at 11:00AM, followed by interment at Lakewood Park Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 9:00AM until the time of service.
