Beloved husband of Norma Appelman; dear father and father-in-law of late Phyllis Horowitz, Howard (Pamela) Appelman and Susan (Steven) Drapekin; dear grandfather of Alyssa Appelman, Joni Appelman, Lindsay Appelman, Joshua Drapekin, Anna (fiancé Daniel Graulich) Drapekin, Jesse Drapekin and Max Horowitz; dear brother-in-law of Rachael (late Ted) Pevnick, Toby (late Ron) Singer and late David (Sheilah) Katz; dear uncle, great-uncle and friend to many.
Mr. Appelman was a veteran of WWII, a graduate of Washington University, President of Unidynamics and a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Funeral service Friday, November 29, 1:30 pm at Congregation B’nai Amoona, 324 S. Mason Road, 63141. Visitation Friday 1:00 pm at Congregation B’nai Amoona. Interment at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery-White Road. Memorial contributions preferred to Congregation B’nai Amoona or a charity of your choice.
