Ralph Haag Jr. passed away on May 23, 2023 at the age of 89. He was born on October 12, 1933 to Martha (Glenn) and Ralph Haag in Mattoon, Illinois. He graduated Mattoon High School and served two years in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Norma Jean Hartwig on July 13, 1956 in St. Louis. He and his wife accepted Jesus Christ as a young married couple and they were always active in church. At the time of his death, he was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Florissant, MO.
His entire work career was with Union Electric (now Ameren). At retirement, he was Overhead Supervisor. Ralph had acquired many skills and was willing to use them helping anyone he knew.
He was a loving family man. Surviving are his wife Norma Jean, a daughter, Melody Bosworth, a son, R. Kyle (Lori) Haag, another daughter, Monica Haag, seven grandchildren; Marcie, Joseph, Todd, Kenzie (Nathan) Hudson, Logan, Brooklyn, and three great grandchildren, Ethan, Hailey, and Miles. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Goodheart, and a son-in-law, Scott Bosworth.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Kriegshauser West Mortuary at 9450 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63132. The family is planning a private burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.
