Robert Guy Sandow

Beloved husband of Dorothy Sandow and the late Della Sandow; dear father and father-in-law of Ellis “Nick” (late Bonnie) Sandow, Diane (Laurie) Lieberman and Gary Bierman; dear grandfather of Scott (Tracey) Sandow, Sean (Grace) Sandow, Scott (Andrea) Lieberman, Lee (Lara) Lieberman and Stephen (Kim) Lieberman, Michael (Kelli) Bierman and Andrew Bierman; dear great-grandfather of 19; preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

Bob was a veteran of World War II, European Campaign, receiving a Purple Heart, three Bronze Medals and an Honorable Discharge. He was a pawn broker and in the jewelry business for many years. He and Dorothy were active members of City of Hope for a long time. He was also a member of an American Legion Post. Thank you to the staff at Rosewood Care Center for their wonderful and devoted care.

Graveside service Thursday, July 19, 10:00 a.m., at B’nai Amoona Cemetery, 930 North & South Rd. No home visitation. Memorial contributions preferred to United Hebrew Congregation, 13788 Conway Road, St. Louis, MO 63141 or to the City of Hope, 447 Marford Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141.
