Robie E. Davis, 85, on Monday, June 1, 2020. Beloved husband of Lois Jean (nee Herrmann) Davis for over 60 years; loving father of Brenda Jo (Joseph) Flanigan; dear grandfather of Joseph Allan DeClue and Jordan Davis (Melinda) DeClue; dear brother of the late Francis Lee, Greta Marlee Nichols, and Thomas Harris Davis; dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.. The youngest of four children, he is predeceased by his parents, Frank J. and Greta M. (nee Hubley) Davis, origanlly from Nova Scotia.
Baptized August 1948 in Washington, New Hampshire, he graduated from Hinsdale High School in Hinsdale, New Hampshire in 1952. He married Lois on June 20, 1954 in Brattleboro, Vermont before joining the Air Force , serving from 1958 -1978. He earned his BA in Business from Columbia College in Columbia, MO in 1985 and was a Master Guide (Pathfinders) 1985-199. He was also an Honoree PLA (Pathfinders) in 2008. Robie worked for McDonnell Douglas as a Logisitics Engineer and also for Boeing Aircraft in Business Operations.
SERVICES: The family will receive friends and neighbors from 11am until time of service at 1pm on Friday, June 5, 2020 at Kriegshauser Mortuary West Chapel 9450 Olive Blvd., Olivette, MO. Military Honors will be offered at the start of the services.
Per St. Louis County Social Distancing mandate, seating capacity is limited to 50 for the funeral service at 1pm. Food & Drinks are also prohibited and masks must be worn.
