Beloved husband of Naomi Mazur Silvermintz for 69 years; dear father and father-in-law of Elaine (Robert, MD) Kaufman and Mark (Donald Posegate) Silvermintz; dear grandfather of Jennifer (Bryan Faller, MD) Kaufman MD and Jay (Michelle) Goldwin) Kaufman, Captain Benjamin (Chelsea) Silvermintz and Rebecca (Gary) Craig; dear great-grandfather of Zosia Eve Faller; dear son of the late Morris and the late Sarah Silvermintz; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Wilbur (the late Loretta) Silvermintz; dear son-in-law of the late Rabbi Jacob R. and the late Edith Mazur; former father-in-law of Ferne (Ronald) Wiesenthal; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Dr. Silvermintz was a graduate of both Washington University and Washington University Medical School. He served as a captain in the US Army Medical Corps during World War II. Dr. Silvermintz was a highly respected physician and mentor to many. He was in private practice for 50 years. He was passionate about patient care.

Funeral service Sunday, November 17th, 2:30 PM at the new BERGER MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 9430 Olive Blvd. Visitation Sunday 1:45 PM. Interment Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 7500 Olive Blvd. Memorial contributions of your choice preferred.
