I just found out about Bill's passing. My son and I are contractors, our company Creative Renovations had worked with him on and off about design work and building projects on his hom and really thought the worl of him. A student of his just informed me that he had passed.  Sorry for the late condolences. He was the kindest person I've met in years.  Paul Schaffrin

Dear Erin, Seth, Virginia and families,
We are so deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our dear neighbor and friend, Bill.  We simply can not believe that he left us so suddenly and so soon.  We have missed seeing him and had no idea what happened to him.  We are in a state of shock.  He was a wonderful, kind and generous neighbor, friend and mentor, a fabulously interesting man with much knowledge and passion for history, antiques, woodworking and much more.  He will be greatly missed here in Webster Groves and on our street.  Please know that you and your families are in our thoughts, and although this message is coming to you quite late, we send you our deepest condolences.

       Please accept  our condolences on the passing of your father, Mr. McCoy.  I was so happy to have gotten to know him in recent years outside of Ladue High School and at Trivia games.   I wish you the strength to get through these sad days and I know many people are there to support you but I am sorry his life was cut short.
