Lilly Bernard LeBlanc

SAINT MARTINVILLE – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Lilly Bernard LeBlanc, age 91, at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 13, at St. Rita’s Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Fabre officiating. Interment will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Dion Hall from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The hall will reopen at 8:00 am on Wednesday and remain open until service time.

A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mrs. LeBlanc passed away at 9:36 pm on Sunday, March 10, 2013.

She is survived by her sons, Bernard LeBlanc and wife Margaret of Harvey, LA, Richard LeBlanc and wife Sharon of Bridge City, TX; daughters, Susan Tierney of Gretna, LA, Constance Guidry and husband Earl of Catahoula, LA; brother, Johnal Bernard of Bridge City, TX; sisters, Roberta Choate of Nederland, TX, Madeline Bowers and husband Roger of Dallas, TX; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine LeBlanc; parents, Willie and Manila Bernard; son, David LeBlanc; daughter, Mary Jane Smith; brothers, Donald Bernard, David Bernard, Willie Bernard and sister, Joyce Landry.

Mrs. LeBlanc’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
