Anthony Brett Curbo

CURBO, Anthony Brett 21, of St Pete Beach, FL, died October 9, 2017. Brett was a former resident of Bartlett, TN. He attended St. Ann's School (Bartlett) and graduated from Bolton High School in 2014. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving at Ft. Riley KS. Brett was active in MMA studying at Memphis Judo & Jujitsu, Bartlett, TN and Combat Performance & Fitness, St Petersburg, FL. He was employed by American Power & Gas, St Petersburg, FL. Brett is survived by his parents, Anthony and Laura Curbo of St. Pete Beach, FL; hs grandparents, Charles and Linda Curbo of Olive Branch, MS, and Riley and Jo Ann Kail of Memphis, TN; uncles, Randy Curbo of Olive Branch, MS, Rickey Curbo of Southhaven, MS, Keith Kail (Cindy) of Olive Branch, MS, and Michael Kail of Memphis, TN; loving cousins, Bailey, Brandon, Isabella, and Samuel Kail, Trevor, Lori, Matthew Callie, and Chaz Curbo; girlfriend, Gaby Zoutendyk and her daughter, Athena of Bradenton, FL; his beloved pets, Poncho, Oscar, and Diesel; and many friends. A celebration of Brett's life will be held Saturday, October 14, at Beach Memorial Chapel, (727) 360-5577, 301 Corey Ave., St Pete Beach, FL from 6-9 pm. An additional memorial service will be held in Bartlett, TN, which will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request the donations be made to the Florida Chihuahua Rescue/DBA Rescueme.org and Suncoast Animal League, or a charity of the donor's choice.
