Clarita Luna Zamora, 87, of South Pasadena, Fl went home to be with the Lord on Thursday July 6, 2023 surrounded by her loving family almost a year after being diagnosed with AML. Born in Mecauayan Bulacan, Philippines she graduated with a degree in Pharmacy there , immigrated to NY and worked for Ciba Giegy & Norvartis in Suffern, NY. She then took an early retirement to take care of her first grandchild & the following 4, then moved to Egg Harbor Township, NJ & lastly moved to South Pasadena, Fl last year.
Clarita fiercely loved her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed large gatherings with friends and family, her Filipino Association and Senior Citizen Association meetings and many parties. She loved to dress up and dance and took great pride in the homes they owned. Clarita embodied the traits of loving, caring, kindness, spunkiness, feistiness and tenacity.
Clarita will be missed and fondly remembered by her husband; Benjamin M. Zamora, son; Ben Zamora Jr, daughter; Angelie Sebastian-Rosario, Son in laws; Frank Rosario and Ruel Sebastian, grandchildren; Julie, Chris & Brian Sebastian and Alex Rosario, sisters; Jovita Luna Catalan & Milagros Luna Talusan, brother; Celso Luna and an endless amount of nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Clarita's celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday July 15, 2023 at 1p at Beach Memorial Chapel, 301 Corey Ave, St Pete Beach, Fl 33706. A public visitation will be held from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm. Services will be live streamed on her daughters Facebook page "[email protected]" and a link to watch the service on video will be provided there as well.
