

He was born in Ware, MA to Anthony “Buzzy” and Marilyn Bartolo on August 9, 1958. Rico grew up in North Brookfield, MA. He lived his younger years alongside many family members and helped with the family restaurant , Stella’s (the Stand). He graduated from North Brookfield High School in 1976. Rico enlisted and served in the National Guard in 1977. Rico then began his work in sales. He took pride in his work, especially his time at Aubuchon Hardware and his time working for the Wrights. If you knew Rico, you knew his favorite thing to do was collect everything. You could always find him at his storage or on a Sunday at Rietta Ranch Flea Market selling all his goods. Rico loved spending time in Hampton Beach with the love of his life, the late Lynn Ledger (Gagnon).
Rico was preceded in death by his father, Anthony “Buzzy” Bartolo, his brother, John Bartolo, his wife Lynn Ledger (Gagnon) and his step-son Joshua Ledger. Rico is survived by his mother, Marilyn Bartolo (Perucci), his daughter, Stella Morin (Bartolo), his granddaughters, Amelia and Charlotte Morin, his brother, Anthony “Tony” Bartolo, his step-daughter, Gabrielle Danforth (Ledger), his step-son Greg Ledger and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Common Grounds in North Brookfield, MA.
